Στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού project e-Twinning με τίτλο “A Universal Museum of Europe” στο οποίο συμμετέχουν οι μαθητές της Γ΄Γυμνασίου του τμήματος της κ. Τ. Αγγελοπούλου, οι μαθητές πραγματοποίησαν μία ακόμα διαδικτυακή συνάντηση με τους μαθητές της Τουρκίας με τους οποίους συνεργάζονται για την πραγματοποίησης μίας ακόμα συνεργατικής δράσης.  Οι μαθητές κάθε σχολείου ανέλαβαν να ερευνήσουν και να καταγράψουν δέκα γνωστά μέρη ιστορικού και τουριστικού ενδιαφέροντος των δύο χωρών αντίστοιχα και να συγκεντρώσουν τις πληροφορίες τους σε γραπτή μορφή στα αγγλικά, συνοδευόμενες από φωτογραφικό υλικό. Ανάμεσα στα αξιοθέατα που ερευνήθηκαν ήταν η Ακρόπολη, το παλάτι της Κνωσσού, η Αγία Σοφία, το Μπλε Τζαμί κ.ά. Έπειτα, με τη βοήθεια του ψηφιακού εργαλείου artsteps δημιουργήσαμε μία ψηφιακή έκθεση (virtual exhibition) των δύο χωρών, όπου ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να περιηγηθεί στα μέρη αυτά, έχοντας την αίσθηση ότι περπατάει σε ένα μουσείο. Η δημιουργία τους αυτή δημοσιεύθηκε στην πλατφόρμα e- Twinning. Τα παιδιά είχαν την ευκαιρία όχι μόνο να μάθουν χρήσιμες πληροφορίες ο ένας για τα αξιοθέατα της χώρας του άλλου, αλλά και να επικοινωνήσουν στα αγγλικά προκειμένου να συνεργαστούν και να υλοποιήσουν την κοινή αυτή δράση.

Online meeting and creation of Collaborative Virtual Exhibition, e-Twinning project

As part of the European eTwinning project titled “A Universal Museum of Europe”, the students of the 3rd Grade of Junior High School from Ms. T. Angelopoulou’s class participated in another online meeting with their partner students from Turkey. Together, they collaborated on a new joint activity.

Students from each school were assigned to research and document ten well-known historical and tourist landmarks from their respective countries. They gathered their findings in written form in English, accompanied by relevant photographs. Among the landmarks explored were the Acropolis, the Palace of Knossos, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and others.

With the help of the digital tool Artsteps, the students created a virtual exhibition showcasing these landmarks from both countries. Visitors can navigate through the exhibition and experience the feeling of walking through a museum. Their digital creation has been published on the eTwinning platform.

Through this project, the students not only learned interesting information about the landmarks of each other’s countries but also had the opportunity to communicate in English, collaborate effectively, and bring their shared project to life.
